SyAAF MiG-29
Again, stunning shots (but sadly not that clear) I took for two SyAAF MiG-29's while being prepared for take off after testing in Neyrab airbase.
The entire fleet has undergone serious overhaul in the main facility in this base, as some sources stated these aged aircrafts have received plenty of enhancements including avionics modernization and been fitted with partial SMT package.

SyAAF Air Parade 2010
For the first time ever in the history of SyAAF, clear shots done by me and my Nikon for the most modern Syrian military aircrafts during the parade of the graduation ceremony take place on 16th Oct. every year at Kweres AB (AKA Rasm Al Abboud).
The photo above is for a Su-22M (could be either M-3 or M-4).
Formation of three Su-22M (could be either M-3 or M-4) during the air show, as we can see that this variant has two different camo's in the SyAAF.
The mighty Su-24MK Fencer (the day of parade...it was as cloudy as every year :( ).
A day before...it is very strange that the one to the left doesn't have the SyAAF roundels under wings!!
Here too.
May be the other two had undergone overhaul and repainting process recently.
The agile Fulcrum!
Formation of single-seat SyAAF MiG-29's.
The day of the airshow...
All the days, the MiG-29's flew with drop tank fitted to belly, it means they start from Seen AB -their home base- and land back there.
SyAAF MiG-23BN during the air show (also in two different camo's).

SyAAF Helicopters in Neyrab Airbase
Other exclusive photos I took myself either ;), two SyAAF Gazelle's stationed in Neyrab airbase in the preparation for the parade will take place after a couple of days, specifically on 16th Oct. every year, it is good to mention that Gazelle is the only western helicopter used by SyAAF.
SyAAF Mil Mi-8 carries the serial 1295 or 1395...not that clear. This Hip had received its regular maintenance/overhaul in 'the factory' facility.

SyAAF MiG-23MLD !!
Exclusive photos I shot myself for the 33 ex-Belorussian MiG-23's stationed at Neyrab airbase at the tarmac infront of 'the factory' the main maintenance and overhaul facility for SyAAF.
Not all these MiG-23s are MLD, few are UB trainer variant AKA (DUAL) in SyAAF.
These MLD's should be fitted with longer range radar than the ML, enhanced avionics and BVR air-to-air missils reported to be maintained and overhauled to join in the front-line air bases.
On the date of my photos I could count 30~31 units in that air base, seems the remaining truly saw their way inside the overhaul facility.
Note how the Red star at fin is over painted randomly in green.
